Special Display
Fashioning our World
4 July – 6 September 2024
The special display highlights a collaborative project involving local young people who worked closely with the team at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery as part of the Fashioning our World initiative in partnership with Salisbury Museum. The group had the unique opportunity to delve into the Costume and Textile collection at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery, not usually accessible to the public. Throughout this immersive experience, they acquired new skills rooted in traditional techniques while crafting their own creations inspired by the museum’s diverse collection.
