We All Bloom Differently

28 October – 1 November 2024

An Exhibition Celebrating National Care Leavers’ Week

Join us for a special exhibition, “We All Bloom Differently”, created by Dorset’s care leavers, to commemorate National Care Leavers’ Week (Monday 28th October to Sunday 3rd November). This exhibition offers an opportunity to explore the personal stories, thoughts, and creativity of those who have experienced the care system.

Through a collection of words, images, and artwork, visitors will gain insight into the lives and experiences of care leavers. Each piece reflects the individuality and resilience of young people who have overcome challenges and blossomed in their own unique ways.

“We all bloom differently – come and discover who we are and what we can achieve.”

Entry to the exhibition is FREE.

For more information about the exhibition or to find out more about Dorset’s care leavers and how you can lend your support, please contact Dorset Council’s Youth Voice team. email: [email protected]

Monday 28 October – Sunday 3 November 2024.

National Care Leavers Week gives young care leavers the opportunity to challenge the perceptions given to them and raise awareness of the issues those in care face, whilst also celebrating the incredible things many go on to achieve. Organised by BECOME, a national charity for children in care and young care leavers,

Care-experienced young people voted for the theme for 2024, which will be: All of Us, We Are One.

This theme is around connecting communities.
